Toni Chrabot is a retired Assistant Special Agent in Charge with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Her career with the FBI spanned 25 years, during which time she received multiple quality service awards while also receiving increasing levels of responsibility as she rose through the agency’s ranks.

FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge. As an Assistant Special Agent in Charge with the FBI, Ms. Chrabot oversaw and provided direction to more than 200 agency personnel. She directed complex investigations across the agency’s cybercrime, corruption, healthcare, and organized crime programs.

Ms. Chrabot led collaborative efforts with other local, state and federal agencies for special event security coordination and crisis management planning for major events including the U.S. Open, NBA Championship, The Players Championship, and Daytona 500. She was also responsible for leading efforts to integrate and streamline the intelligence cycle which was recognized FBI-wide as a best practice.

Prior FBI Experience. Before her promotion to Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Ms. Chrabot held several other positions within the FBI. These included Supervisory Program Manager & Crisis Negotiator at the agency’s Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG) and Supervisory Instructor at the FBI Academy, among others. As a Resident Agency Supervisor for the FBI’s Detroit Division, Ms. Chrabot oversaw 150 investigations targeting complex healthcare, mortgage, financial fraud, and public corruption schemes over a timespan of just three years.

Client Services. Today, Ms. Chrabot relies on her FBI experience to help clients that are facing all types of high-stakes federal audits and investigations. She also assists clients with intelligence processes and risk analysis, cyber crisis management, and ethical and regulatory compliance. She has particular experience in matters involving allegations of corruption, organized crime and complex fraud, including fraud under federal healthcare benefit programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. On the intelligence process and risk analysis side, her experience includes advising clients in the sports and entertainment, telecommunications, information technology, insurance, finance, and legal industries. As a consultant, Ms. Chrabot has served as an expert witness for clients facing both substantial civil liability and serious criminal charges.

Speaking Engagements and Media Appearances. Beyond her client work, Ms. Chrabot has served as a keynote speaker for corporate, academic, and community functions, as well as a panel member for discussions involving insider threats, security trends, and developing intelligence-led processes and programs. She has served as an expert commentator on security and law enforcement matters for various media outlets as well, and was featured in Dateline NBCs’ 2011 Season Premiere Episode, titled “Ransom”.

Education and Affiliations. Ms. Chrabot received her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and earned a Master of Education degree from the University of Virginia. She is an active member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, National Academy Associates, Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), and Rotary International.
